The UIC College of Dentistry (COD) IT Helpdesk supports the community with IT questions, service requests, and issue resolution, including IT onboarding, offboarding, and internal transfer services for managing employee access, systems, and equipment, as well as assistance with axiUm-related problems and service requests. For quick guidance and common inquiries, users can also use Clovie, the COD IT virtual assistant, for self-service support and direction to the appropriate resources. Additionally, the Digital Dentistry Implementations Committee (DDIC) provides a structured process to help organize and secure approval for new digital dentistry technology (equipment, hardware, software, etc.), including purchases, donations, loaners, and proof of concepts (POCs).
