Illinois Data Bank

The Illinois Data Bank is a public access repository for publishing research data from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. We curate and preserve all of our datasets and assign DOIs for easy linking and impact tracking.

Illinois Experts

Illinois Experts is the Library's research information management (RIM) service that gathers information about campus research activity from multiple local and external data authorities into a single, easily accessible repository. The service supports a public portal for campus-produced research and scholarship discovery, programmatic reuse of curated data across multiple campus websites and systems, and support for unit decision-making and reporting activities.

ORCID at Illinois

ORCID@Illinois provides a convenient way for researchers (including faculty, staff, and students) to obtain a digital persistent identifier and/or to connect an existing ORCID iD to their campus identity. Will also add the hyperlinked identifier to faculty and staff public directory profiles.

Software Engineering and Design

Software Engineering and Design is led by NCSA's research software engineers, who offer training and support to students and researchers in modern software technologies. They assist projects funded by federal agencies (e.g., NSF, NIH, NIST, DOE), private foundations, and industry partners.
