How can I record student attendance in my course site?

Attendance can be tracked manually in Blackboard using the Attendance tool or automatically using a Student Response System. 

Another popular option would be to use a Student Response System such as iClicker or Acadly's attendance tool.

Original Course View:

Some instructors take attendance by creating a column in the Grade Center and manually entering the attendance data.
 
Additionally, there is a Blackboard attendance tool, where a student's attendance can be entered manually and tracked in the Grade Center. Ultra Course View:

The Ultra course view allows instructors to manually record attendance. Instructors can access the attendance page by clicking Attendance on the Course Content page.
