About this service

Description The campus wireless network provides network connectivity for wireless devices such as laptops, tablets and phones.
Other names There are multiple wireless networks to connect to on campus: IllinoisNet, UIUCnet, EduRoam, UIPublic, various private SSIDs, EOH (during Engineering Open House), etc.

How to get the service Depending on the location and networks available, wireless services are available to anyone with an Urbana NetID, wireless guest account, or the general public.

Campus IT Professionals can request campus wireless service by submitting a ticket to net-trouble@illinois.edu.
Cost No charge
Usage constraints IllinoisNet and UIUCnet are available to all campus and guests with credentials. EduRoam is available to users from EduRoam participants. UI Public wireless is available to users that do not have campus credentials.
