How to get the service Access to Shibboleth is available to anyone with an Urbana NetID, wireless guest users, and to people who have a departmentally created Active Directory account.

IT professionals can leverage Shibboleth to log customers into their services by following these instructions.
Cost No charge
Usage constraints FERPA compliant. We require that a service’s manager and any of their IT staff who will be handling data complete the registrar’s on-line FERPA certification before we’ll allow them to have FERPA-suppressed user data released to their service.

Support and Hours

How to get help Customer support is provided through the Technology Services Help Desk. Support for IT pros who have services protected by Shibboleth is done by email to shibboleth-mgr@illinois.edu.
Training and consulting opportunities None listed
Maintenance hours Monthly patching the 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of each month between 5:30 and 7:30 AM. Other maintenance may be done periodically, but always weekday mornings between 5:30 AM and 7:30 AM or weekend mornings between 5:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
