How to get the service Illini-Alert messages are automatically sent to the NetID@illinois.edu email accounts of all current University of Illinois students, faculty, staff, and members of affiliated organizations.  Additional alert options can added at http://emergency.illinois.edu.

People who are not in a group that automatically receives the Illini-Alert messages have two Illini-Alert subscription options:
  • Text "IlliniAlert" (without quotation marks) to 226787
  • Follow @IlliniAlert on Twitter
