PAP Long-Term Laptop Loan

What Is It?

Funded through the Library/IT Assessment, Technology Solutions partners with the Honors College to offer an extended laptop lending program. The goal of the service is to provide students in need with a loaner laptop to use during their tenure at UIC to assist in their academic success.

Features

Student recipients of the President’s Award Program scholarship are offered a current-model laptop with:

  • Windows operating system
  • UIC-licensed Microsoft Office and antivirus software

Requirements

Incoming students who are recipients of the President's Award Program scholarship are eligible to receive a new laptop as a learning tool for use during their time at UIC. Students must maintain good standing with UIC to retain the laptop.

  • Students offered the service through the Honors College

Where Can I Get It?

Technology Solutions Extended Laptop Loan laptops come with no-cost (with the exception of accidental damage) hardware support from Technology Solutions. Recipients can visit the Tech Helpdesk for assistance.

Service Request Fulfillment Time Clients are not able to directly request this service. Rather, it is provided via a partnership with the Honors College.
