What Is It?

UIC's Softphone solution, using Cisco Jabber, allows you to make and receive calls to your UIC VoIP phone number on your Windows or Mac computer. With a microphone and headphones/speakers, this service is easy to use. 

Please note that only the Jabber desktop application is currently supported by Technology Solutions. The Jabber smartphone app is not supported by Technology Solutions at this time but is being tested and will be available in the near future.
