What Is It?

The UIC Red multisite network is a resource for creating and managing UIC websites.


  • A UIC branded theme framework for a consistent look among all UIC department websites.
  • A variety of page layouts and content components that are designed to create responsive, accessible and usable websites without extensive knowledge of website development.
  • An option to have sub-unit websites nested into their main unit websites.


Sites must follow the Red Requirements

As part of the Red Modernization project, all UIC Red websites were migrated to a cloud-hosted web infrastructure over the 9/3/22 - 9/5/22 weekend. This migration brought a change in the authentication method for password-protected pages on Red websites which requires a one-time adjustment to re-enable authentication for protected pages.
