Features

This service ensures best practices are implemented and all involved parties understand the expectations for publishing a mobile app onto UIC's mobile stores.  The intention is to align all parties, including units, vendors, and Technology Solutions, to comply with clear expectations regarding security, branding standards, release timelines, and priorities.

Requirements

  • Due to the change in Apple policies, @uic.edu email addresses cannot be used to access Apple Developer Accounts. Instead, please request an email with an @UIC365.onmicrosoft.com via the Shared Mailbox request form. In the request body, explain that due to the Apple ID @uic.edu domain change, you will need to create a new shared account to access the Apple Developer Account and Google Play Store.

  • Requesting units are responsible for publishing their own mobile apps. If the requesting unit does not have an internal resource for this process, it can partner with a vendor whose developers are readily available.
    • Technology Solutions has a positive working relationship with:  SPR (mike.donlevy@spr.com) as they are familiar with our mobile app process.
