How can I edit the sample banner in the course template or add a new banner to my Blackboard course?

To add a banner to the exemplary course template, you will first require a 480 by 80 pixels image that you would like to use as your course banner. You can create this image using applications like MS Paint or Adobe Illustrator. You can also choose to edit the sample Banner provided in the Exemplary course template.

To download the sample banner and edit it:

1. Locate your course on the My Courses Plus section of your blackboard homepage.

2. Navigate to your Blackboard course.

3, Once in your course, select Control Panel > Content System > YOUR.COURSE.ID

4. In the course content page, hover over the required file. A chevron appears. Click on the chevron.

5. From the drop-list, select 'Download Package'.

6. Find the downloaded .zip file on your computer and extract the files.

7. Edit the sample banner using Paint or Adobe Illustrator.

To upload the banner to your course, kindly follow the instructions given below:

1. Locate your course on the My Courses Plus section of your blackboard homepage.

2. Navigate to your Blackboard course.

3, Once in your course, select Control Panel > Customization > Teaching Style.

4. In the Teaching Style page that opens, find the Select Banner section and Browse your computer to attach the required file.

5. Once done click Submit.
