Description The Database Hosting service is a managed service that provides a SQL database instance hosted on a dedicated storage volume and assigned RAM as well as granular Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities. The managed database hosting service is offered on a per Database instance basis.

Features and tools • DEPLOY and update the SQL application version of the Database instance
• PATCH the SQL application of the Database instance
• MONITOR performance and availability of the Database instance
• LOG and forward Database instance logs to central data logs repository
• BACKUP and replicate Database instance regularly (at least a 14-day retention)
• INVENTORY and track Database instances with asset management tools
• SECURE and manage IAM of the Database instance
