Description cPanel provides a dashboard with a variety of tools for creating and managing websites hosted on web.illinois.edu. It is available to students, faculty, and staff, and offers easy collaboration with non-University partners through Google authentication.

Cost No charge
Usage constraints 2 GB disk quotas, but more space can be requested, and large files can be stored elsewhere and linked to from websites. Because this is a shared service, there are some restrictions on memory usage, number of simultaneous system processes, and number of database connections.

The service is not approved for FERPA or HIPAA data. Technology Services does not monitor the service for compliance.
