You can customize the appearance of courses on your Canvas Dashboard.
To show or hide courses, use the favorites tool. When no courses are favorited, the courses list automatically displays up to 20 courses alphabetically. However, once you have selected at least one course as a favorite, only your favorite courses will appear in the Courses list.
Note: Courses are initially listed alphabetically, but you can reorder your courses manually by clicking and dragging them to reorder.
To mark or unmark courses as favorites (starred):
- First, click Courses in the menu along the left side of the screen.
- Next, click All Courses at the top of the course list.
- You will then see two lists of courses, including your active and past enrollments. Any course in your active enrollments may be selected or deselected as a favorite by clicking the star. A favorite course will have an orange star, while other courses will have an empty star. Only courses marked as favorite will show up in your course list and on your dashboard.
