Requirements
A valid UIC primary NetID and common password are required to create a GitHub account and to access the University GitHub Enterprise account.

To get started, see Creating a GitHub Pages site. Before you create a Page, you need an Organization.
To request a new organization or migrate an existing organization under the University enterprise license, send an email to GitHub Shared Service Support with the following information:
- Department Name
- Title of the GitHub Organization
- Preferred GitHub Organization URL
- Existing URL for the requesting department's website. Used for setting up a verified domain.
- Organization owner information for two people: Name and NetID
