What Is It?

The CBA IT Services team provides support for the College of Business Administration’s community with a single point of contact for the assistance, education, and troubleshooting issues concerning CBA computing resources.

Features

CBA IT team is comprised of four main areas of service. A brief description of each area of service is provided below. A more comprehensive descriptions can be found at CBA-ITServices.

  1. Client Services team provides the following services to the CBA community:
    • IT Service desk /Help desk.
    • General IT Consultation.
    • Inventory management and upkeep of all CBA computing devices.
    • Facilitate system disposal in compliance with campus regulations.
    • Facilitate purchasing of CBA Computers, Printers, Peripherals, and Accessories.
    • Setup for CBA Computer, Printers, Peripherals, and Accessories.
    • Tier I Network support (network issues from wall jack to end device).
  2. Infrastructure Services team provides the following services to the CBA community:
    • Tier II escalation for Client Services issues.
    • Server computing consultation.
    • User Access Management to University and College IT resources.
    • Data storage consultation.
    • Tier II Network support (network issues involving College connectivity to the University network).
    • Setup, Configuration, and Administration of CBA Servers and Network Printers.
    • Manage CBA's VPN access.
    • IT Security consultation.
  3. Integrated Learning Spaces team provides support for the following services. Additional information is available at the following service page
  4. Business Process Automation team provides support for the following services:
    • Manage CBA SharePoint.
    • Consultation to create new work flows.
    • Consultation to discuss new Projects/initiatives.
    • Projects/Initiatives to innovate/automate current work flows with focus on MS Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
