What Is It?
This is a process used when a LTI —a third-party tool integrated into a Learning Management System (LMS)—does not fully meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.x, ADA Title II compliance). Instead of blocking the tool, the requesting unit acknowledges and accepts the associated accessibility risks and commits to mitigation strategies.
