What is it?
AI Chatbot is a conversational AI assistant that:
- listens to a user’s message,
- routes it to the most relevant topic (your scripted dialog or knowledge source),
- uses a large-language model to generate an answer or decide it needs to call an action/flow, and
- returns the response back in the chat interface.

How Do I Use It?
When you request a new AI Chatbot, you will be put into a queue of requests. Once our team is ready to work with you, we will reach out to set up a meeting and gather your specific feature requirements and work with you to set up a plan for implementation.
How Much Does It Cost?
AI Chatbot agents are created using Microsoft Co-Pilot Studio. Technology Solutions will help configure the Chatbot and support future feature improvements. Units are responsible for the cost of Messages and maintaining the knowledge sources. Messages are the unit that measures chatbot agent usage. The number of messages consumed by an agent depends on the design of the agent, how often users interact with it, and the features they use. We use an estimator tool provided by Microsoft https://microsoft.github.io/copilot-studio-estimator/ for a monthly estimate of messages. This number will vary each month as the website interaction frequency and website users vary each month. The total cost is calculated based on 1Message = $0.005*. Departments will be billed monthly with a 1-year commitment.
