How do I request a NetID change?

Explains how a user can request a NetID change.
 

NetIDs will be changed only in certain circumstances, on a case by case basis. The NetID is the key to your digital identity at UIC. It is used as a permanent email address, as a login name on most Technology Solutions systems, as the basis for login IDs on Enterprise and Hospital & Health Sciences systems, and it is printed in the annual faculty/staff directory.
 
*** A change of NetID will NOT be done unless there is agreement to also change the Enterprise ID and any corresponding user IDs in other campus domains (i.e., UI hospital accounts and/or NetIDs in use at UIUC/UIS), such that your NetID(s) and Enterprise ID are the same in all applicable UI domains. ***
 
*** User access to University of Illinois systems may be lost for up to 5 days during a NetID change.
