Crashplan will be transitioning to the self-supporting service model on July 1, 2025. We suggest finding an alternative service to save your important files and documents if you do not wish to continue using Crashplan. One such alternative to consider is UIC's Onedrive or Box Drive.
File Syncing vs. Backup: While OneDrive and Box Drive provide backup capabilities, it's primarily a file synchronization service. This means changes made to files in the OneDrive and Box Drive folders on your device are mirrored in the cloud. For comprehensive backup solutions, especially for non-standard folders or entire system backups, consider using dedicated backup software.
