How do I to create/renew external affiliations as a Phonebook Contact?

PB Contacts can create/renew external affiliations, which will auto-generate the NetIDs. Departments can set up UIC NetIDs for external (guest/sponsored) affiliates. There are two steps:

NOTE: You can skip step #1 if you are renewing the external affiliation. 

  1. Request UINs (University Identification Numbers) for the individuals you want to grant access to from i-card Programs. Please refer to this link: go.uillinois.edu/UINRequest

    Once you reach this page, log in with your credentials. You will submit the form to the University of Illinois i-card Programs using the contact information on the bottom of the form.
     
  2. Once you have the UIN(s), you can create the NetIDs using the External Affiliates web application found here: uic.edu/apps/external-netid/request
