How do I get an activation token as a student?

The best form to acquire an activation token by a student is given below.

Note: Activation tokens are only issued to accepted students and external affiliations.

To get an activation token, please contact UIC Admissions. Their contact information can be found at the following link:
https://admissions.uic.edu/contact-admissions

Once you have your UIN and the token, you can go to UIC NetID Activation page and set your password.
