Email size limits for UIC Gmail are set by Google and are currently 25 MB, for both incoming and outgoing email. Technology Solutions has matched the size limit for outbound mail sent by Microsoft Exchange or Technology Solutions servers to match Google's at 25 MB.
The size limit for inbound email (email that comes into UIC addressed to any Technology Solutions email server, other than Listserv) is also 25 MB.
The size limit for email sent to Listserv is 10 MB.
If you need to send messages or attachments that exceed this limit, please consider uploading your document to Box/OneDrive for Business/Google Drive and including a link to your document in your email.
Please note that attachments are always uuencoded when sent via email and this can increase the original document size by 25% or more.
