- Open the “managed software center” application.
- Type “jamf” in the search box.
- Install the application called “jamf migrate”
- Allow the install to complete.
- Wait for the Jamf application to prompt you (this can take up to 15 minutes).
- Once the window appears, select “ok.”
- Allow the migration to begin.
- A small box might appear if there is something holding up the migration process. The box will contain instructions on how to proceed. Follow the instructions in the box to allow the migration to finish. Example:
9. Allow the migration to finish.
10. Select “reboot” when prompted.
11. Log in using your NetID and existing computer password. You might be prompted to change your computer password.
12.Once the reboot completes, a tab for file vault encryption will appear; press “continue.” 
13. Your Mac might try setting up siri, touch ID, or accessibility; you can click “set up later” or “continue” when applicable.
14. Once you have returned to your desktop, the migration is complete.
