How to prepare loan machines

1. Install Fresh OS
2. Bind to AD
3. Add/Modify entry in Munki portal
4. Install Apps
5. WSO Enroll
6. WSO
   1. Put in group to get IllinoisNet profile

Bind To Active Directory

1. On a Windows computer, Create new computer object in Active Directory Users and Computer.
2. On the Apple computer, navigate to System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Options
3. Unlock the panel and Click on Join...
4. Click on Open Directory Utility...
5. Unlock the panel and double click on Active Directory
6. Expand Show Options
   • In the Active Directory Domain enter ad.uillinois.edu
   • Computer ID is computer name used in step 1
   • Skip the Mappings tab but fill out the other two as shown below
     
     
7. Click on Bind... and click OK on the Join existing account prompt.
   
8. Get back to Login Options and configure as shown.
