Telephone Add

Staff can request the installation of a new telephone unit.

As of October 1, 2023, new phone requests are fulfilled with Cisco Jabber Softphones.
On Oct. 1, Technology Solutions began providing Cisco Jabber softphones as the primary communication tool for new phone requests until units have transitioned to Zoom Phone. While not as powerful as Zoom Phone, Jabber softphone is a versatile solution that enables voice and video communication through a computer. This change encourages a more sustainable and efficient communication environment by reducing the need for physical phones during this transition period.


Requests must be approved by the unit's business manager.

TDD/TTY Devices may be requested. Technology Solutions will order and install a new device at the current installation rate. Any maintenance of TDD/TTY devices is the responsibility of the requesting unit. Note there is a $75.00 one-time charge for a TDD/TTY device (price is subject to change).
