Self-Service Software Installation

The following applications can now be self-installed using company portal:

  • Adobe Acrobat (Webstore activation required)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud Apps (Webstore activation required)
  • Audacity
  • Avogadro
  • Blender
  • Cisco VPN
  • Cisco Jabber
  • Cisco Webex
  • Citrix Workspace
  • Endnote (Requires license key)
  • Globus Connect Personal
  • Grammarly 
  • IBM SPSS Statistics (Requires license key)
  • Jaws
  • Mendeley Reference Manager
  • Microsoft VsCode
  • Poll Everywhere
  • R
  • RStudio
  • Sublime Text
  • Tableau Desktop
  • Zotero

These applications can be installed from within the Company Portal app installed on all AHS managed devices. To begin a self-service installation, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Start menu and open Company Portal
  2. If prompted to choose a device category, select “AHS Devices” and choose Done
  3. Choose the Apps tab on the left to see all available self-service applications
  4. Choose an app from the list and select Install
  5. Keep in mind that some applications require a license to be purchased from the UIC webstore prior to use.
