Features
Frequently CBA staff, instructors, units need data about our students or potential students. Examples include, a roster of students enrolled in a course, a listing of grades in a course, comparative data among different cohorts of students, a listing of students who have specific types of credit, the bio-demographic makeup of our student body, who among our students is employed at UIC, and many other possible reports/lists/counts. There are many other possible reports to aid staff and instructors in their work with educating our students.
Requirements
- Any request for, and handling of data, must adhere to FERPA guidelines to protect confidential student data. It is incumbent upon you to ensure the data you receive is transmitted securely and kept safe.
- When placing your request, provide a narrative of what you are trying to understand, accomplish, do with the data you are requesting. Be prepared to answer some questions about your request. This helps to create a useful and meaningful report for your purposes. Include any other relevant details, who, what, when, where, why, how...
