Education Technology Services - Data & Hardware Services

What Is It?

The Data & Hardware Services provides support for College-owned computers and other technology where hardware condition, data protection, or device retirement are involved. Services include hardware repairs, data recovery, secure data wiping, device decommissioning, and electronics disposal. These services help protect important data while ensuring devices are properly repaired, retired, or disposed of in accordance with University requirements.

The Electronics Disposal service provides secure and compliant disposal of College-owned electronic equipment that is no longer needed, functional, or supported. This includes ensuring proper data sanitization, asset tracking, and environmentally responsible recycling or surplus processing in accordance with University policies. All devices are reviewed before disposal to confirm they are eligible and properly prepared for retirement.
