What Is It?
Canvas is the University of Illinois College of Medicine’s learning management system (LMS). Canvas provides a centralized space for course materials, assignments, announcements, discussions, grades, and learning activities for students, faculty, and staff.
Faculty can use Canvas to organize course content, communicate with learners, manage assignments and assessments, and support instructional activities. Students use Canvas to access course materials, submit assignments, participate in discussions, and review feedback and grades.
Canvas is available through a web browser and the Canvas Student and Canvas Teacher mobile apps.
