- Windows 11 devices
- Microsoft Entra Admin Center
- Devices synced or managed through Entra ID / Intune
1. Sign in to the Entra Admin Center
- Navigate to https://entra.microsoft.com
- Sign in with your super user admin account.
2. Open the Devices List
- In the left‑hand navigation panel, select Devices.
- Click All devices.
- Search for the device using:
- Device name
- User (via filters)
3. Check the Join Type
- Click the device name to open its details.
- Locate the Join type field.
- Entra joined — Cloud‑joined; typically managed by Intune.
- Microsoft Entra hybrid joined — Joined to on‑premises AD and synced to Entra.
- Entra registered — User‑based registration (BYOD/workplace join).

- MDM enrollment: denotes what Endpoint management tool manages the device (typically Intune).
- Compliance status
- Activity: Denotes last check in time.
- Owner: denotes the Primary user
