Overview
This article provides an overview and examples of the official login pages for University-supported applications and services. Some applications may also require Duo 2-Factor Authentication.
UIC Login Page
As of November 21, 2022, this is UIC's primary login page, used to access most university resources including Blackboard, Google Workspace, Box, the UIC Help Center, and LinkedIn Learning.
When accessing some applications, you will see a series of two distinct login pages.
- When encountering the first page, the URL in your browser's address bar should start with https://login.microsoftonline.com. Enter your full UIC email address then select Next.
- On this second page, the URL in your browser's address bar should start with https://sts.uic.edu. Enter your full UIC email address and password, then select Sign In.
Duo 2FA Login Page
Some university applications require the use of 2-Factor Authentication (2FA), powered by Duo. When accessing these applications, you will encounter the Duo Universal Prompt login page. This page will automatically send a prompt for your preferred method (i.e. Push, SMS), or you may request to use another option. For these pages, the URL in your browser's address bar should start with https://api-***.duosecurity.com.
U of I Enterprise Login Page
The University of Illinois login page is encountered when accessing U of I systems pages such as Human Resources, Student Records, and other U of I Systems applications. You must use your NetID to log in to this page. When encountering this page, the URL in your browser's address bar should start with https://login.uillinois.edu.
U of I NetID Center
The NetID Center is the central location for managing your University of Illinois NetID password, setting up Duo 2-Factor Authentication, establishing account recovery settings, and signing up for UIC Alerts. The URL for the NetID Center is https://identity.uillinois.edu.
Selecting Log in goes to the U of I Enterprise login page.
U of I Discovery Page
The following page will be encountered when accessing some services available across the University of Illinois System. When encountering this page, the URL in your browser's address bar should start with https://discovery.illinois.edu.
UIC Bluestem Login Page
The UIC Bluestem login page is encountered when logging into some University-supported applications. When encountering this page, the URL in your browser's address bar should start with https://login.uic.edu.
NOTE: Prior to November 21, 2022, this was the primary login page for UIC resources. The UIC Microsoft Login Page has become the primary UIC login page.
