What can I do if I receive an error when trying to login with Shibboleth?

If you've been sent to this page, the service you were trying to access was unable to obtain needed information about you to grant your access. 

Potential causes

This could be for one of the following reasons:

  • There could be a temporary technical problem
  • You may not be authorized to access the service
  • You may have elected FERPA suppression

Quick fix: Restart your browser

To check whether this is due to a brief technical problem:

  2. Try to access the same service again.

  • The URL that gave you the error message
    (for example, "https://uofi.box.com/problem-page/")
