Introduction
Most of our communication applications allow delegates to be assigned. This is a guide to help users give their assistants delegate access to their resources. The guide focuses on using the web versions of the applications because this is the less error-prone path.
Exchange Calendar
- Go to outlook.com.
- Sign in using your Illinois email.
- Click on the calendar button.
- Click on Share.
- Select the calendar you want to share, by default it's called Calendar.
- Search for your delegate by their name or netid.
- Select the name from the suggestion list.
- Click on the drop down menu next to the person's info, select Delegate.

- Click on Share
- The delegate(s) will get an email informing them of their delegate status
