RIMS Support

The RIMS team is available to work with University employees on all three campuses to manage, organize, or purge records and information. Please contact the Records and Information Management Services office with any questions or requests you may have. You will receive a response as soon as possible, typically within 1-2 business days.

RIMS Service Areas

Disposal – Disposal requests or inquiries about disposal methods
Document Imaging/Scanning – Inquiries about scanning projects and guidance
Inventory and Organization – Requests for RIMS’ assistance with inventory and organization or general questions about how to perform inventories
Policies – Inquiries about policies and procedures that RIMS has published
Retention – Inquiries about the records retention schedules, specific retention periods, how to identify retentions, and any help needed for retention mapping
Storage – Storage transfer or retrieval requests, general inquiries about storage conditions and options
Training – Training session requests, inquiries about existing training, suggestions for future trainings
Other – If you are unsure what category to choose or do not feel any of these categories are relevant
