I need to communicate with my students.
Email your students using course email lists from Enterprise Self-Service.
Students in my class need to submit a file or link.
Create a Box folder and set up the folder to allow file submissions.
My students need to complete a final exam built in Canvas.
If your students need to complete a final exam that you built in Canvas quizzes, please contact COLRS to discuss options for offering an exam outside Canvas.
I need to complete grading in Canvas before submitting final grades.
As we continue to consult with peer institutions and evaluate the risk associated with bringing Canvas online for UIS users, ITS and COLRS developed the LMS Incident app to assist faculty in closing out the semester on time. Please complete this form for each course that you are teaching during Spring 2026. COLRS staff will work to share Canvas materials with faculty.
My students submitted all their work, and I am finished grading.
If you have finished your grading and have records of those grades, please submit final grades as usual. If you do not have records of those grades, please complete this form to request an export of the Canvas grade book.
