UIS Mobile App
Mobile Credentials
Mobile Credentials
From the UIS Mobile app, tap
i-Card
, and then
HID Door Access.
The next screen will show a user’s status (which is determined through the i-card REST API endpoint) –
Eligible
for users who are ready to claim their mobile ID,
Pending
for users who have just claimed their mobile ID and the system is syncing (this status should be very temporary – mere minutes), or
Active
for users whose mobile ID is ready. Users who need to move their mobile ID to a different device would tap Delete. Tap the Refresh button, and then continue to Step 3 to claim your invitation code. Please note that each user only gets one mobile credential, and that mobile credential can only be installed on one device.
For eligible users, tap the
Get Code
button to see the steps to claim your mobile ID (which is determined through the i-card REST API endpoint).
Tap the
copy
button, then go to the HID app and tap
Add
in the upper right corner.
Go to Store
link takes the user to the App/Play Store to download the HID app, if needed.
Paste
the invitation code and tap
Get Started.
The new mobile ID will now appear in the HID app, and the status in the UIS Mobile app will change to Active.
