Virtual Computer Lab
Newly available as of Spring 2020, the Virtual Computer Lab provides UIC students, faculty, and staff with access to specialized software from their own devices.
Common-Use Classrooms
The Center for the Advancement of Teaching Excellence (CATE) provides and maintains the technology in more than 185 common-use classrooms.
Computer Labs
Campus computer labs provide centrally managed computers with standard software. These labs are available to UIC students, staff, faculty, and authorized guests.
Software Installation
Service to install software and data files to computers in classrooms or computer labs (physical or virtual).
Classroom Technology Training
The Center for the Advancement of Teaching Excellence (CATE) offers one on one training on the use of the technology found in UIC's common-use (non-departmental) classrooms.
Computer Guest Access
Individuals can request guest access to the computers installed in Technology Solutions computer labs or classrooms when necessary (such as for an event with non-UIC affiliates in attendance).
Equipment for Classroom Use
Audio-visual equipment is available for use by instructors in common-use classrooms.
