Endpoint Services, Windows, Connect to VPN Before Signing In

Summary

To sign into a Windows computer outside of campus, using your Illinois credentials you need to start the VPN at the sign-in screen. 

Instructions

1. Turn on computer.
2. Connect to Internet connection.
3. At the sign-in screen, click on the Network sign-in button.
   
4. Enter the University's VPN address: vpn.illinois.edu
   
5. On the next screen, enter your Illinois credentials.
6. Once back at the sign-in screen, select Other user from the bottom left corner.
7. Sign in using your Illinois credentials.
