ChatGPT, Change Display Name

If you need to change the display name shown in ChatGPT, you can update it through your OpenAI account settings.

Steps

1. Go to the OpenAI User Settings page:
   https://platform.openai.com/account/user-settings

2. Sign in to your OpenAI account if prompted.

3. Find the Name field.

4. Update your name and save the changes.

Important Notes

• Changes are made in your OpenAI Platform account settings.

• After updating, it may take up to 15 minutes for the new display name to appear in ChatGPT.
