Classroom 242 is equipped with the following technology:

• Large display
• Wireless Presentation - Apple TV
• HDMI Input - Front
• HDMI Input - Rear
• Camera - Front
• PTZ Camera - Rear
• Ceiling Microphones
• 4 Wall Mounted Speakers

How To Connect Apple Computer to Room's Display

Wireless

1. Locate the touch panel to the left of the display.
2. Tap on Share.
3. Select Wireless from the options.
4. On Apple device, go to Control Center ( macOS | iOS/iPadOS ) and select Screen Mirroring.
5. Select Education 242 from list.
6. Enter 4 digit pin that shows up on display.

Wired

1. Located preferred HDMI wall plate. 
   • Front HDMI wall plate is to the bottom left of the display.
   • Rear HDMI wall plate in on the counter in the back of the room.
2. Plug HDMI cable into wall plate.
3. Plug HDMI cable into computer's HDMI port or dongle.
4. Once connected, on your Apple computer go to System Preferences > Sound.
5. Click on Output, select Crestron. See image below for example.
6. Done
   

How to Connect Windows Computer to Room's Display

Wired

1. Located preferred HDMI wall plate. 
   • Front HDMI wall plate is to the bottom left of the display.
   • Rear HDMI wall plate in on the counter in the back of the room.
2. Plug HDMI cable into wall plate.
3. Plug other end of HDMI cable into computer.

Wireless

Not possible at this moment.

How To Use Classroom Cameras and Microphones

1. Locate USB Extender wall plate. See image below.
2. Plug USB cable into wall plate.
3. Plug USB cable into computer.
4. Look under the audio and/or camera settings of the app being used for device selection.
