Student Licensing, Choosing an Adobe Access Option

Overview

Determine the appropriate Adobe access option for a student based on the computer being used, the funding source, and the Adobe applications needed.

What This Is About

Adobe access for students depends on several factors. You may need to determine:

  • Whether you are using a University-owned or personally owned computer.
  • Whether an individual subscription is paid for with personal funds or a University CFOP.
  • Whether you need Adobe Acrobat Studio or Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

In some cases, you do not need to purchase an individual Adobe subscription.

  • University-owned and personally owned computers.
  • Adobe subscriptions purchased through the University of Illinois WebStore.
