Summary
UIS uses a product by RedSky called MyE911 in order to properly route emergency calls to the nearest PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) operators while remotely using softphone.
This application is required for anyone using a Cisco Jabber with UIS's phone system for federal E911 compliance. If MyE911 is not installed, you will lose access to softphone features. Softphone access must be provisioned before attempting to install this application.

Download MyE911 for your computer:
Follow the steps below to install the client.
- Download MyE911 client installer using either the Windows or MacOS links above and click Next.
- Advanced Setting window will open.
- The host is: https://anywhere.e911cloud.com.
- Uncheck the Enable LLDP Network Discovery box. Click Save.
- Leave the default destination folder as is in the next window and click Next.
- Click the status bar form the new MyE911 icon. The Device Registration window will open. Enter your university email address. Click Send.
- You will be emailed a verification code. Enter the verification code on the next screen and click Verify.
- The application will open the MyE911 page. Click the Add Location and set as Current button at the bottom right of the page.
- Add Location window will open.
- Enter a name in the Location Name field that identifies the personal location, e.g., Home.
- Enter your civic location in the Address field.
- Click the Add and Set a Current Location button to save the location for future use.
- Your current location has successfully updated.
