How Can I Get IT Support as a UI Health or Hospital Employee?

Many services that UI Hospital staff use are not managed by Technology Solutions.

UI Health and Hospital employees should review the information below to obtain IT support.

IT Services supported by Hospital IS Service Teams

  • UI Hospital Portal
  • Citrix (when used to access UI Hospital resources)
  • Empowers (LMS) (managed by the Hospital HRIS team, Hospital HR)
    • Non-Epic eLearnings are managed by the Hospital HRIS Team. They can be contacted by submitting a ticket to the HRIS LMS/TMS Help Desk.
    • Epic eLearnings are managed by the IS Education Team. They can be contacted by placing a ticket with the UI Hospital IS Help Desk (see below).
  • Epic/MyChart
  • UI Health Exchange email accounts
  • UI-Health-Staff wireless network
  • Duo 2-Factor Authentication
    • Duo 2-Factor Authentication is managed centrally by the U of I Administrative Information and Technology group (AITS), but UI Hospital staff should contact the Hospital IS Helpdesk for enrollment or issues with the use of Duo 2-Factor Authentication.
    • UIC students, faculty, and staff who are not UI Hospital staff members should contact Technology Solutions for assistance with Duo 2-Factor Authentication.
