 Audio & Surround Sound Configuration in BHB6 

1.Access Audio Settings: 

Tap the AUDIO button on the right menu panel of the main screen to open the Advanced Microphone and Audio Controls overlay. 

2.Set Source Output Level: 

Turn the physical volume key or internal slider all the way up on your Lectern PC or connected personal device. Adjust master volume output directly via the touch panel screen using the SPEAKER VOLUME arrows or slider. 

3.Select Audio Upmix Profile: 

Under SURROUND SETTINGS, tap UPMIX to cycle through the available playback modes based on your media type: 

• Native: Plays audio based on source output (typically STEREO). Sounds only through the two primary front speakers. 

• Native + Sub: Plays stereo sound with enhanced bass. Output comes from all speakers at the front of the room. 

• Surround Upmix: Enables full spatial audio across every room speaker. Recommended when playing movies or music during class. 

• Verification: Ensure audio plays clearly through the intended speaker channels and verify level changes on the blue SPEAKER VOLUME status bar. 

Room Lighting Control 

1.Open Lighting Controls: 

Tap the LIGHTS button on the right menu panel to access zone adjustments. 

2.Select Zone & Adjust Brightness: 

Identify the target area (Zone 1 is closest to the front/lectern; Zone 4 is farthest back). Tap your desired preset brightness (ON, 50%, 25%, OFF) or use the up/down arrows at the top of the column to fine-tune specific light levels. 

• Verification: Observe overhead lighting rows to confirm selected zones respond to the touch screen commands.
