What are some known issues with Grammarly at UIC?

Known Issues and Workarounds for Grammarly

1. Chrome Web Store Restriction: While Grammarly works best on Chrome, the Chrome extension can only be downloaded when signed out of your UIC account.

2. Using a Managed Computer: If you are using a computer that is managed by your IT department, please contact your IT department to install Grammarly on your laptop.

3. Grammarly Editor: The Grammarly Editor will not be available for the UIC campus. For security and compliance reasons, all content developed using Grammarly must be saved using university-approved storage options such as Box, OneDrive, or Google Drive.  

4. If you lose access to Grammarly or encounter an error, try signing out and then signing back in. This usually resolves the problem.
