Zoom AI Companion is a generative AI Assistant, which will help compose emails/chats, summarize information/meetings and so much more!

Technology Solutions is excited to launch the Zoom AI Companion in 2024. Zoom AI Companion empowers UIC students, faculty, and staff to increase productivity, improve team effectiveness and enhance skills. Using Zoom’s unique federated approach to AI, UIC can expect high-quality results when summarizing meetings and chat threads, brainstorming creatively, and much more – all in the simple, easy-to-use Zoom experience.

Enabling and Disabling Zoom AI Companion

To enable/disable the Zoom AI Companion, please:

1. Go to your web portal account settings
2. Select “Settings” in the left sidebar
3. Navigate to the AI Companion tab at the top of the page.
4. On this page, you can turn specific features on and off (except for those that are locked at the UIC tenant level).
