How do I copy a course from one term to another?

You can copy courses from one term to another however, you must be an instructor in the destination course as well.

You can copy courses from one term to another; however, you must be an instructor in the destination course as well.

Original Course View:

  1. Access the Blackboard course you want to copy.
  2. In the Control Panel, click Packages and Utilities > Course Copy.
  3. Select the option: Copy Course Materials into an Existing Course
  4. Click the Browse button to view a list of your courses. 
  5. In the popup window that appears, select the appropriate course ID from your list of courses and click Submit. The course ID will populate in the Destination Course ID Box.
  6. Select the course materials that you want to copy over to the existing course. We recommend Select All (Unless exceptions are specified).
  7. In the File Attachments section, select Copy links and copies of the content
    • Note: if there is .swf select Copy links and copies of the content (include entire course home folder)
  8. Click Submit.
Note: DO NOT select Include Enrollments in the Copy.
