Why am I receiving a "not enrolled" error when trying to access my UIC email (Exchange/Outlook), a Microsoft Office application, Box, or Qualtrics?

Beginning August 16th, 2021, you may encounter an error message stating "We're sorry, access is not allowed because you are not enrolled. Please contact your organization's IT help desk for assistance." This error message is displayed if you attempt to access Box, Qualtrics, or a UIC Microsoft 365 application such as Exchange/Outlook, Teams, or other Office product, before registering for the university's Duo 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) service.

 

To access the Box, Qualtrics, or the Microsoft 365 service, you will first need to enroll in the university's Duo 2FA service. To do this, visit How do I set up Duo 2FA?
