Is it possible to edit lecture captures in Echo360 after they are recorded?

Echo360 is a system that allows instructors to easily stream and record lectures taught in specific UIC classrooms and make them available to their students through Blackboard. Some classrooms are equipped with Echo360 devices that will capture all audio and video sources in the classroom’s multimedia system, including the installed PC, the instructor camera, and the built-in and wireless microphones.

  1. Once your recording has been processed students can access the recording if you have added a link to your Blackboard course.
  2. If you don't want students to access the video before you can edit it, first make it unavailable in your course. If this is not desired, the available video will reflect your changes after you save them.
  3. Access the video editor to start the editing process.
  4. To open the video editor: Click on a Video in your Library (or the Admin completed captures list) to open the Media Details page.
  5. Click Edit Media option below the preview panel, identified in the below figure.
